Alberto Chiozzi born in Verona, Italy, in 1988 and begin the study of drums at age of 12 and shortly after he join the "Doo-Dat jazz Big Band" directed by American Jazz trumpeter Kyle Gregory and participate in jazz specialization classes held by leading pianist Danilo Memoli.
Since 2006 he has been steadily attending workshops held by Legend American pianist Barry Harris, in cities like Verona, Rome and The Hague. At this point start his long career as a music teacher and over the years he works in many prestigious music schools gaining extensive experience. In 2009 Alberto visit New York for the first time where he meets some of the world's best drummers like Jimmy Wormworth, Keith Balla, Fukushi Tainaka, Taro Okomoto, Clifford Barbaro and others.
In 2011 he graduated in University of Padua and in the following years he performs in numerous international festivals such as Eddie Lang Jazz festival in Molise or Sconfinando jazz in the Marches. In 2014 he records Alberto Benicchi's album "Be-Bop Boys" and performs in prestigious international workshop "Tetracordo".
In the following years Alberto plays with internationally acclaimed Luigi Grasso during the Fermo Saxophone Festival, he records Grazia di Grace album "Grazia di Grace Meets the Bebop Cats", and plays in different groups led by guitarist Pasquale Grasso At this time Alberto participates in several workshops held by American jazz drummer Joe Farnsworth.
In 2017 he joined the swing band "Sweet Peanuts" specializing in music for lindy hop dances. The following year he recorded "Blue Monday" his first record as a leader. The album, produced by EUritMUS RECORDS, received excellent feedback from music critics, and music lovers.
In 2021 Alberto moved to New York City where he began working with some of the most important musicians on an international scale. In the same year he joins the singer Samara Joy Band for an international tour in Europe. Over the years Alberto has played in important clubs such as: Blue Note Milan, Ronnie Scott's, Mezzrow Jazz Club, Zinc Bar, Smalls Jazz Club, Orithology Jazz Club, Midnight Blue, Camera Jazz & Music Club, Fat Cat and Cleopatra's Needle, Pavlov in Holland, and Chet Baker, Cantina de L'Arena, Bravo Caffe`, Bentivoglio Winery in Italy and many more.
Alberto played with some of the best musicians in the world including Pasquale Grasso, Tom Kirkpatrick, Vahagn Hayrapepetyan, Luigi Grasso, Stefano Doglioni, Ari Roland, Rossano Sportiello, Paul Gill, Alex Hoffman, Luca Pisani, Oscar Zenari, Andrea Olivi, Robert Bonisolo, Paolo Birro, Alberto Benicchi, Marco Bovi, Peter Anderson, William Anderson, Beppe Pilotto, Diego Frabetti, Valerio Pontraldolfo, Nico Menci, Alex Milo, Clovis Nicolas, Andrea Papini, Danilo Memoli, and others.
