Based in New York and rooted in the Italian jazz tradition, Alberto Chiozzi brings the language of bebop into the present. His drumming is defined by strong swing, a light touch, and a deep sense of interaction—creating space for the music while driving it forward.

Chiozzi has performed with artists such as Samara Joy, Pasquale Grasso, Tom Kirkpatrick, Ari Roland, and Chris Byars on stages including Ronnie Scott's, Blue Note Milano, Mezzrow, Smalls, and Ornithology Jazz Club.

As a bandleader, he shapes each ensemble through sound, repertoire, and spontaneous dialogue. His latest recording, Blue Friday, Vol. 2, captures this vision: tradition in motion, alive in every performance.
